We still have to paint the walls white and put in a window, but all is signed and sealed on the new MADARTS Gallery in Brooklyn at 5th Ave. and 10th St. just blocks away from my place.
The fickle bird of good fortune alighted my shoulder (again) and my landlord decided he'd like to run a gallery in Park Slope for a while. He asked me to partner up, I asked Stephen at Madarts if he'd get behind it and voila! We have a gallery.
I'll post more as the show comes together, but it'll be everyone at Madarts. At least one piece per person. That's roughly forty artists, several cases of wine and a dozen different prescriptions.
